A smooth, old-school milk punch with bourbon, vanilla, and fresh-grated nutmeg on top.
4 steps, about 5 minutes start to finish.
Combine milk, bourbon, powdered sugar, and vanilla in a shaker with ice.
Shake well until chilled.
Strain into a glass over ice.
Grate fresh nutmeg over the top to garnish.
“Shake it hard with plenty of ice so the milk turns cold and just a touch frothy. A little fresh nutmeg grated over the top is the traditional finish and adds an aroma that makes the drink feel special.”
